Being a compulsive explorer of the British landscape, my photographs represent those elements that inspire my travels. I am as much captivated by the landscape processes as by the end result, so you will find that many of my images are of interactions – liquid with solid, light with surface, rock against rock, wind in the grass. Occasionally I fall victim to the larger view, but often with quiet light rather than the explosive colours of dramatic sunrises and sunsets.
As you will see, my photography also extends to the more obvious, the world of the garden. A gentle retreat from the rugged wilderness, but nevertheless a challenge in its own right.
